What is a model call...
Model calls are used to help me build my portfolio and help me gain experience with posing and photographing newborns. If you agree to a model call, you are giving me permission to use images from your session in my portfolio and on my social media pages.
A newborn model call includes a completely free two-three hour session ($200+ value), eight digital images, and a print release. You will be able to choose which images that you would like and also have the option to purchase additional photos.
What to expect during the session...
-all newborn sessions MUST be done within 7-14 days of birth (ideal age is 5-10 days old)
-model calls include free session, eight digital images delivered in an online viewing gallery... Which gives you the option to choose your images and purchase additional photos.
-turn around time for newborn model calls is two-three weeks following session
-All model calls are used to build my portfolio, (by agreeing to a model call you are giving me permission to use, share, and post any images from your session)
-Each session will last approximately 2-3 hours...Please come prepared to stay that long. The majority of your session will be spent calming, posing baby.
-If we are doing sibling or family photos, we will do those first. Please have a plan for your other children to be picked up or taken home by spouse or family member after they're finished. The studio is in my home and is super tiny and crowded.
-The, my studio is set up in my home in a tiny bedroom, please do not bring more than one other adult with you to your session.
-The studio will be EXTREMELY warm when you arrive and during your session, this is to keep your baby warm and sleepy throughout the session. Please dress comfortably and in layers.
-I do not use regular baby clothes for the newborn sessions... I have several wraps, outfits, props, headbands, etc. to choose f
rom... I do allow one outfit at the end of your session if you have an outfit that you'd like to bring!
-If you have a specific theme or colors in mind please let me know prior to your session. I will be happy to try my best to include any ideas that you have. You are welcome to bring props of your own, just please let me know ahead of time!
-I am open to any ideas or suggestions but I will not attempt any poses or set ups that I do not feel comfortable doing.
